Stewardship
- No trees or shrubs are to be cut on the property. Camp Guilrock is a "nature preserve". Removing any plant, animal, artifact, or mineral is prohibited. Hunting and trapping are prohibited.
- Camping is allowed in designated areas only.
- Campfires are to be built only in designated areas, attended at all times, and extinguished upon leaving.
- Fishing in lakes is permitted by the discretion of the Camp Director
- Use of canoes is permitted by the discretion of the Camp Director
- Pets are not allowed except with permission from the director.
- No firearms are allowed on campus (concealed or otherwise).
- No alcoholic beverages are permitted on campus.
- No smoking is permitted on campus.
- Swimming is by reservation only. Obey all pool rules.
- Quiet time is to be observed between 11:00 pm and 8:00 am.
- Observe the camp speed limits.
- All trash should be bagged and placed in the garbage containers provided.
For those staying in the overnight lodges:
- All overnight lodging guests must provide linens, towels, and toiletries.
- As groups leave, please leave time to clean up all areas occupied during the reservation.
- Units will be examined after each group's use. Damages exceeding regular usage will be billed to the customer.
To ensure the safety of both our animals and visitors, please follow these guidelines when interacting with the goats, chickens, and livestock guardian dog:
Animal Care and Interaction Rules
- Be Gentle and respectful to all animals at all times: No chasing, hitting, kicking, pinching, or picking up the animals.
- Do Not Feed Unless Permitted: Only feed animals with food provided by the camp, as outside food can make them sick.
- Respect Animal Space: Do not overcrowd animals; wait for your turn if others are interacting with them.
- No Outside Pets
- Follow Staff Instructions.
- Do not open gates or allow animals to leave their fenced area.
- Wash Hands Immediately: Wash hands with soap and water right after leaving the animal area, even if you did not directly touch them.
- No Food or Drinks: Do not eat, drink, or bring snacks into the petting area, as this can cause bacteria transfer.
- Keep Personal Items Out: Keep strollers, toys, pacifiers, bottles, and sippy cups outside the animal area.
- Supervise Children: Counselors and Adults must closely monitor children, keeping them from putting their hands in their mouths, touching their faces, or kissing animals.
- Health Warning: Individuals with compromised immune systems, allergies, small children, and pregnant women should take extra precautions, as germs can be present.
By entering the animal area, you acknowledge that Camp Guilrock is not liable for any injuries that may occur.

Camp Guilrock Behavior Policy
We have a new behavior policy this year. We want to encourage kindness, growth, and safety. We will use the acronym ROCKS

When we see kids exemplifying these values they will receive a bead. As they accumulate beads, they will earn rewards.
4 Beads: Prize box each week
8 Beads: Candy Bucket
12 Beads: Snow Cone Friday
20 Beads: GuilRock Stuffed Animal
50 Beads: Pizza party at Camp!
We also take bullying and physical contact very seriously. If your child is found bullying, foul language, hitting, pushing, or other unsafe behavior they will:
1st Offense: Warning to the parents
2nd offense: Sent home for the rest of the day
3rd offense: Sent home for the rest of the week
4th offense: Not allowed to come back.
No refunds will be given if your child is sent home for behavior.
